being different is important to be because it separates us from others. I want to be different because I think if we were all the same, life would be a routine which is repeated with nothing new.

No, everyone is unique and some are very different but never too different. if you  are too different it would mean somebody can’t relate to you, but the reality is there is alays someone you can relate with. And who decides what too different is, too different can be different for everybody, so no, you cannot be too different.
